For anyone who thought that “knights in shining armor” were a thing of the past, think again. This Knight doesn’t ride a white horse, but knows all about making heroic rescues as it joins forces with The LEAGUE to create The Knight Foundation Scholarship. Designed with the support of The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, The Knight Scholarship will be awarded by The LEAGUE to three high school seniors for excellence in writing about the importance, value and pure joy of helping others. Each winning student will receive a college scholarship of $5,000.
